Club Handbook 2002

Sene Valley Golf Club's Annual Handbook goes FREE to over 600 Members and contains details of competition dates, rules, club constitution and a list of members. It is a valuable reference book that is welcomed and used by members throughout the year. It is published in April each year for the period from May to April. 

The Handbook contains advertising of the facilities that commercial organisations are able to offer to members and the advertising revenue makes a valuable contribution in supporting the club.

Course Improvements and Maintenance 

Over the coming months a programme of course improvements and maintenance is planned.

Greens Irrigation System

It is planned to replace the irrigation control boxes for the Greens automatic watering system.

Fairway Cutters

The club has now invested in two sets of gang mowers and a new tractor. This gives the Greenkeepers much greater flexibility by having a multi-purpose tractor and when cutting fairways and is more efficient.

Tee Irrigation System

Work is continuing and progress has been made with 1st,2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th Tees.

Tenders

Other work within the clubhouse is being considered and therefore it is intended to create a list of possible tenderers. Any member interested should contact the office.
